I used to sell cars before I started as a Pick-Up Coach. I got involved in the Seduction Community right before I started selling cars so everything was hitting really hard at home to me. Everything was starting to make sense... On my first day of training selling cars, I will never forget the words that my GM told me.... "Selling cars is exactly like picking up girls at a bar... You've gotta get them to like you before you can fuck them!" And damn it, once I learned how to sell cars... I found myself becoming more and more successful with girls. Here's a couple of rules in sales that I have found really apply to pick up. Hopefully this will allow some people to see things a little bit differently and make sense...
1. Emotions are contagious- People buy from people they like. It's very simple. Don't be a debbie downer when you are talking. Hide that shit. Leave your emotions at the door. Whatever happened the day before... fuck it. Don't bring that stuff to the office. You know why you are at work and it is to sell a fucking car. Don't think about the big deal that fell through yesterday or how the guys in the service department fucked up a customer of your's car or how you got your balls busted by your manager in the morning sales meeting. You're number one mission is to get a customer. Until you have a customer infront of you, you can't sell a car.
How does that apply to pick up? When you go out... leave your emotions behind you. Know that you are out to be out and have a good time and interact. If all you do is sit there and think about how many girls rejected you last time, that shit will build up inside you and show right through your words and actions.
2. EXPECT people to say no- Not everyone is going to sign on the line that is dotted. Not everyone is going to like you. Your product presentation is not going to appeal to everyone. You will eventually run into someone who has better negotiation skills than you do when it comes down to the nitty gritty. Expect rejection HOWEVER use each interaction with a customer as a learning experience for yourself and do better on the next one.
How does this apply to pick-up? Each girl you talk to should be a learning experience. Don't assume that because you failed with a girl that she is a "bitch" or you "aren't her type." Realize that you fucked up somewhere. Figure out where it was. And fix it for next time.
3. PUSH, PUSH, PUSH!- If I fucked up a deal and I could feel that the customer was ready to walk... Why not tell them I threw the keys for their trade in on the roof and a porter will get them down in a few minutes? It would give me that one extra shot to close the deal or atleast try a new closing technique that I haven't perfected yet. I gave every deal I worked 120 fucking percent of my effort.
How does this apply to pick-up? If you blow out a set... Why not try some new shit? Why not try that technique that you learned to go in for the kiss or escalate a bit further? Keep pushing and value your time that you spent with that interaction. Cause the next one... you've gotta start all over again.
4. MONEY over RESPECT- Some customers are a fucking NIGHTMARE to work with... but these assholes still need cars, right? Eventually they are going to run into a salesman who knows how to close them. Why shouldn't that salesman be me? I don't give a fuck about if they respected me. If they were hard on me... I was going to be hard right back.
How does this apply to pick-up? Remember who the fuck you are. You are a PICK-UP ARTIST! If anyone can close the social butterfly in the bar/club... It's you. Know that you are the best around. No matter how big of a BITCH a girl can be... at some point, that girl will spread her legs for some guy saying "fuck me baby! fuck me!" WHY SHOULD THAT NOT BE YOU? Don't be a pussy and let her run circles around you. You will see yourself as a failure and that is not true.
5. WALK BEFORE YOU CRAWL- One thing I learned very quickly was the car has to be sold before the customer will buy it. I've never ever ever sold a car by simply walking up to someone saying "Do you want to take this bad boy home today?" They had to be SOLD on the CAR and ME before they were going to make a buying decision. If I got too pushy on closing too soon... The customer would walk.
How does this apply to pick-up? Coming straight out and saying "Do you want to put my dick between your legs?" won't work (unless she is a straight up WHORE) So STOP THINKING LIKE THAT! Quit trying to fucking short cut everything to get to sex and work it the right way and you will see the results that you want.
6. QUALITY OVER QUANTITY- Some guys who are in car sales would flip through customer after customer and write mini deal after mini deal and complain that they weren't making any money. They refuse to see obvious buying signals from great buyers and work them appropriately. They get like a little cocker-spaniel and piss all over the place when they have something and go right into the close and blow the deal. If I had a customer who I know is a buyer and was a little soft.... I would FUCKING LAY HIS ASS OUT! I'll fineness my way into a 8000 dollar profit deal and fucking enjoy every bit of it. Those are the customers that I want.... (and the customers who bring me lunch once a week cause they liked me so much... little do they know, they paid for my new set of golf clubs.)
How does this apply to pick-up? Quit being so concerned about how many fucking phone numbers you get like its some sort of god damn prize and WORK the sets you have spent your time on. Don't be afraid to spend time in a set and actually work the girl instead of pussing out and thinking "oh well the conversation is dead so I will just get her number and text her." No matter how much you want to believe it... Two 5s don't make a 10. You have 2 shitty looking girls phone numbers that you wasted your time on when you could have spent that time pulling the 10. (2 mini deals= $200 dollars for the salesman. 1 deal with $8000 dollars in profit= $2400 for the salesman... Which would you rather have?)
7. BULLSHIT BAFFLES BRAINS- This was something I learned that a great salesman has to have... "The Gift of Gab." Taking a customer on a test drive and being able to talk about something else besides the car gave them the feeling that I wanted to be their friend for that few short minutes of them driving the car they want to buy. Then... we pull back into the lot, I change gears "So, If we can work out the right terms, can we earn your business right now?" BAM! Their emotions are pumped up because they are laughing and now all the sudden they are with their "FRIEND" and forced to make a decision on buying this car... They aren't going to say no at this point. Trial close. I know I have a buyer at this point.
How does this apply to pick-up? Stop thinking about what fucking routine you are going to run next or what kino escalation tactic you are going to use next for a few minutes and just BE FUCKING NORMAL. Then switch it back around to the seductive closer that you are.
The whole social dynamic aspect of sales and pick-up are virtually the same. I slept with 4 customers I sold cars to because of the fact that I was gaming the girls at the same time I was selling them cars. Understanding what it takes to become a phenomenal salesman will ultimately help you become a better pick up artist and give you a much better understanding of people in general. There are many, many, many other aspects of sales that can be applied to Pick-Up but this thread is already getting lengthy and I'm fucking tired.
