So, I want to get a better dressing style, I'm more of a rocker, so I would like to dress more like one, so I was thinking of getting skinny jeans and converse shoes.
I'm almost 6.4, my hips are 37inches and my waist is 32inches (not that it's relevant), so I don't have a very big frame, bit of chicken legs, since my calves and ankles are quite skinny. I'm not at all big boned. I was wondering if skinny jeans would be a good idea to give me more of a v shaped look? I fear that I may be too skinny or too tall for them.

thx :)

With jeans I tend to find that individual brands/makes look different on me, even if they are the same cut. Most skinny jeans don't go too well with my body shape, but I have found one or two pairs over time that have looked alright.

Leg size/upper body proportion etc. doesn't always tell the whole story. I'd go and try a few pairs on and see if they look good for yourself in the mirror.

How old are you? Guys over the age of sixteen have a hard time pulling off that look. If you're over sixteen, and not either a pro skater or a guitarist in a successful band, then I'd forget about the skinny jeans and go for something more your age.

Skinny jeans in general are perfectly fine. As MrGiggles pointed out, the combination with Converse shoes might look a bit immature, so you won't want to wear that. You said you don't have a large frame and are rather chicken legged... Especially the latter would make me stay away from skinny jeans. You can fix that quite easily though, just work out a bit.
Now, if you have, say, regular-sized legs, that's not a green light per se. You don't have to have super wide shoulders (far from that, actually), but you should have a bit of an upper body. If you're skin and bones, skinny jeans (plus the fitted top, baggy tops with skinny jeans hardly work at all) will accentuate that.

Now, you said you wanted to have a rocker style. I'd recommend you to buy a quality leather jacket. Easy to pull off, looks masculine (usually) and seems more sophisticated than Converse shoes.

If you are a young teenager, then you can get away with really bad fashion, because its a rebellion statement. It's also a 'I don't have enough money or sense to wear something good'. Just own it and roll with it. But it's kind of metrosexual, so if you want to look alpha, then don't do it.

I personally don't dig it.
