I've been spending more time over at PUAHate. And some things they do, like posting pics of ugly wives/girlfriends of pickup artists, and using male model images and getting cute girls spamming their inboxes, like this:

http://puahate.com/showthread.php?t=47259

makes me doubt this whole game thing. How can someone talking about being grounded get cute girls intressted in them. Is all this game shit bull?

Oddly enough, I created a fake profile on pof once and used an actor's photos, and I got very similar results. It's amazing how superficial woman can be. I've known girls who were infatuated with drug addicted alcoholic with a bad skin problem, simply because he had dimples and a cute smile.

Here's the thing. Style (the pua) contradicted himself because he said that it was such "bullshit" that a guy needs to be attractive to get women. Yet he went on at length to describe all the things a man should do to make himself look better. Get a spray tan, whiten your teeth, eat creatine, develop a fashionable look, etc. He even went as far as to say that you shouldn't touch your face because it is oily and greasy. Heck, after he wrote The Game he developed the L.A.S.V.E.G.A.S system. And what does the first letter stand for? LOOKS!

My opinion is that looks are very important, that and money. However, personality and lifestyle can overcome any deficit that you have in the looks department. The problem with what PUAhate did was that it was only with online dating. Online stuff is all looks oriented, because the person can't hear you or see you interacting with people in real life. They just see a pic of you and can only judge you based on how photogenic you are. Tons of guys pretend to have money online, and even in real life. So a girl won't be impressed by claims of riches and wealth until she see's you putting money in her hand.

I must admit that I'm really inexperienced with dating sites. I don't even have a facebook and I think I'm missing out because I'm rather good looking, except that I don't have blue eyes for which I'd kill for. I could make some fantastic pictures to go on par with those models. I might actually try that and post my experience somewhere.

And props to you puaninja for saying looks matters a lot, which is my experience as well. You don't see many of those statements around here and that is the cause only few people work on their looks.

I haven't really considered dating sites until recently but I guess I can find some quality girls here and there and I'll give it a shot.

Online dating is 100% about looks and statistics- such as age, maritial status, salary, amount of flirts etc.

My ugly friends- haven't got girlfriends and cannot get a date online.

My good looking friends- have got multiple girlfriends and their inboxes are full of cute Eastern European females.

This isn't rocket science- its just women being women.
