I don't think replication is that important. Of course replication is important to the human race, but it is not that important to an individual. I mean, if you don't give birth to a baby, you can still live a life and you can still live happily. When you are old, you can live in a gerocomium. Certainly your genes won't be passed on, but why do you want to pass on your genes? What's the reason for it? Please advise.
