Stag do- is this just a Canadian thing?

Hello Brotherhood,

Now, I know this isn't technically Pick-up, but I do need help with this so please answer. Basically im organising a stag do when my stags Canadian cousin said 'We need to think about the outfits he will be required to wear, and the rules he will be required to follow'. I've never heard of this before, is it generally done throughout the UK? Seems a bit odd to me, but im willing to try new things if its the normal stag-do jazz!
