So I know sometimes lost causes are best left alone but I'd like to know what you guys think about this.

Was out at a bar with a friend let's call him Sid and met some people he was talking to, a gf&bf and their friend let's call her Sue. So he was trying to hit on the gf cause we didn't know at that point and I was just being me and being teasing both the girls being the life of the party as usual. So halfway while I was teasing Sue she starts to slightly kino and I know it's on cause now we're teasing each other and taking every opportunity to playfully hug, hold each other and look into each other's eyes in an 'oh u think you're better than me' playful way.

Eventually Sid realised the other girl is taken and he starts trying to hit on sue too. Cause there was no eye contact and no kino I'm assuming he didn't get through. There was a point where she was pretty much 1 foot away from me and I think I should have kiss closed as we were just eyeing each other but then we were all there playing pool and in the excitement (probably fear maybe...I don't even know why) I didn't close and the thought never even crossed my mind oddly enough.

Once he started to hit on her though his other friend let's call him CB who was there just starting pulling me away for pool games, pretty much running a cock block. I should have asked for her number but I for some reason got carried away with all my friends and was being an idiot and didn't.

So fast forward to the next day (yesterday) and I find out those two took the same transport home cause they live pretty near each other on campus. They were already at the place playing when I got there with my friends and CB was like dude Sid is soo on a date with Sue and they're going out and she's like umm noo. He kept saying that through the night eventually she just stopped reacting to it.

As expected she was very cold for the first 5 mins and I didn't even say hi. Eventually I got a little playful banter in with her and we were back on talking but no crazy touching from her this time, just a few light ones here and there.

We moved to a bar with a band and she was gonna sit next to me until CB made Sid and her sit together, like literally made her move. But she scooted in to sit across from me. Sadly, it was too loud to talk cause of the band and Sid was talking to her but she had a closed body language towards him.

To confirm I mirrored body language with her and then kept changing up and she kept following me which I think meant she was still into me. I'd make conversation which no one could hear and she would keep leaning in and trying to reply and laughing at the stupidest things I said. Still attracted I thought.

So then we had to leave with CB pretty much always getting in my way every single time. It was fun banter cause he used to be a stand up comic and we just teased each other to the amusement of everyone. Good guy to hang with but not when he's blocking me. Good also cause she would pretty much laugh at anything I said. Sid and her took the bus home again and by this point she was like you're fun to talk to and I was like yea I'll add you on fb kissed her on the cheeks which she was waiting for cause I did it the last time. By that I mean no pulling away nothing, which I assume is a good thing. Should have number closed shouldn't I ?! Dayum.

So I got home and added her on fb with an inside joke we had. I figured it was a way for me to show her an IOI but tipsy moves are usually pretty stupid and maybe I added her too soon.

I'm not going to be too hung up on it...didn't think I'd like her until we connected a bit yesterday which is why I'm wondering if there's still an opportunity. I've got attraction for sure, and if I get her 1on1 i'm sure it'll go somewhere IF i haven't been friendzoned yet. Sid is gonna keep trying to hit on her and I know if he's around CB will be all out on me.

She's kinda a 6-7 (cause if she was a 9/10 I'd say friendzone for sure) and I'm (according to me objectively and compliments I've gotten) higher probably an 8 odd with all my confidence. I just am sooo used to the women I hit on closing for me cause I don't go for the super hot ones cause I know that's my sticking point. Need to fix that!

Question is, can I recover? If so how? I planned on letting it cool off til wed-thurs before talking to her on fb and then seeing where it goes. If Sid gets there before me good for him atleast I have a friend with hot friends.

Sorry for the long post guys but you guys have made me what I am and I know you guys see through all the bullshit easy If you need any more info about the situation let me know.
