So....there's this one girl....

Ha - ok, I slept with this girl 10 or so years ago - and to this day, she's still the best I've ever had. I fucked it all up with her by sleeping with a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding (we'd just had sex and she asked me when the last time I'had had it was, I said it was with her last week, then realised that wasn't true and foolishly told her the truth!).

I went away and FATW - well, a lot more than 10 to be fair.

Anyway...I bumped into her today after about 5 years...and the spark is still there - for me at least - she still looks fantastic and hasn't aged at all. In fact, we're supposedly flying to the other end of the country to see a gig together in a couple of weeks (this was arranged today, on the spot).

I went to her house with her with my daughter and I think she's turned the tables on the push-pull - she was saying things like "I've had enough of dating, I just don't need a bloke", then "Your daughter has your nose." I said the obvious: "Poor girl " (with the grin), she replied "No...it's a lovely nose" (maybe a IOI?). At some point she asked about my sister and her husband - they have since divorced; I mentioned that her and I had a drunken night at a gig where my sister asked me if I had a girl who was the "one who got away" (after saying that her ex husband was hers), and I told her that she was the girl I said was mine. (not my sister, you freaks!)

I would love for her to be my FB again (as we were all that time ago), but I am stuck with getting the cocky-funny on properly and again am stuck with the escalation.

Since getting back into the game, I've had few opportunities, but have managed to make some headway. A girl, who I mentioned in other posts, was supposed to come over tonight, but flaked - not even a text!!! I think I didn't escalate and she's pissed off with waiting!
In fact, she phoned while I was at this girls house to arrange to come over tonight (DHV? Pre-selection?) - my daughter passed me my phone and said "Susy is on the phone..." and I could hear her asking my daughter "so...who's susy then?" - another IOI?

There's also another girl (half my age) where I work, who gives me 'the look', but I can't shake the "I could be her father" thoughts from my head!

Anyway...I used to have this down, but now after 6 years out of the game I am stuck.
I'm confused and think that I'm reading things that aren't there maybe.

Any advice would be gratefully welcomed!
