This is kind of random, yet I bet I am not the first to think of this... Here is the topic. I don't like being called "buddy." It seems like a condescending term where someone tries to categorize you as a beta.

What do you guys think?

Best ways to handle it?

Depends on context - if it is a friend or aquanitance - no probs. From a stranger it is very rude & condescending..i agree
