A random thought that came into my head today. I just got the urge to write it, I don't know why. I used to be into PUA until about a year ago. It was fun, but life has changed a bit over time.

My view on relationships is that there are many people that are right for each person. I don't believe that there are all that many different personality types, and some people you will naturally fall for just after spending some time with them and getting to know them.

Secondly we rate our potential spouses based on their situation, status, background, and potential rational suitability as a long-term partner. Ie do they want kids? Do they come from another country and perhaps want to go back at some point (could be a problem). Etc.

I have many women in my life, and a few of them I even have feelings for (like 2 of them). However, I'm not ready to settle down. I keep them as friends and I enjoy spending time with them. I'm sure they enjoy it too, and I don't get jealous when they have boyfriends or other dates because I know I am not having to select only one person and stay with them.

This is the way I want things to remain until I'm ready to settle and thing about things like kids etc.

If they get with other guys, then that's too bad. But you NEVER know how life pans out. Imagine this. As a middle aged man, your wife dies. An old spark's husband leaves her. You rekindle your love.

This is why I think it's ok to have mutiple close female friendships.

The problem with PUA is it requires an awful lot of practising, scheming and generally burning up energy. It also leaves you in slightly akward situations with girls you have history with. It all becomes about sex. And once you've banged more girls than you can count on all fingers and toes, your priorities change.

I think PUA scene is where guys (who didn't have skills before) come devour mouthfuls of lust-quenching conquests. However, whether it's for glory or for personal satisfaction, I do think it's good to get this type of thing out of your system at one point in your life.

Does this ring on anybody else's level? Interested to know feedback if you have any.

I dont really get where you're coming from but it's not the worst thing in the world for men to be into women for sexual needs???

If the community was never established,there would've still been players,pimps,Dons,seducers,naturals,etc.all trying to lay women.

So the community wasnt the one to create this sexual-conquest mode in men.

Maybe Im way off;IDK.

But you're just brain storming as you said so I dont intend for you to know exactly where you're coming from.

If the PUA community wasn't created, imagine how many people would be suffering.

Whether it's talking about how to get laid, how to get a girl, or how to generally approach women, and get the fear of rejection ejected from their system.

It's one of the best community's I have personally been involved in as a whole. I could get girls before, but being in the community has made me develop myself, from my experiences, and other peoples, after me sharing mine, or other people sharing theirs.

A mistake people make in the PUA world is generalize, not every situation is the same, everyone is different, all about taking what you want from it.

It has helped so many people, people need to look at the bigger picture.
