This was posted on another part of the forum but got little response, I just thought saw this bit and thought it would be more appropriate here as I’m sure many of you are affected by it too; not being able to speak to most of the women around you due to a language barrier....

I moved to France from the UK back in June, it’s a great place and there’s a larger proportion of 8's, 9's and 10's here than most of the UK (hardly any women walk around in belly tops with folds of fat hanging out, for a start!). This is so incredibly frustrating though as it’s like being a deaf mute at a playboy party!

I get a few looks here and there but can’t actually talk enough of the language to approach.

I’ve chatted up and dated a couple of girls that could speak pigeon English to whom I would speak pigeon French back to but I would like to be able to approach ANYONE that I want. Bear in mind, that you can’t speak randomly about things as they question what you just said and it just makes you sound crazy when, if you said the same thing to an English girl, they would see it as flirting.

I realise, that the best PUA’s out there would turn it around and use this to their advantage, however, I’m not the best hence opening this up to the board.

Any good suggestions will be field tested and I’ll get back to you guys and let you know how it goes.

hey, I am in a similar situation. Am from Australia, but living in Netherlands at the moment. I am able to open usually quite easily..I have a few dutch lines that are sexual and approach and say it in obviously bad dutch. Then I get the girl to explain what it means and act shocked, like I would never want to do that to them. I tell them my mates told me to say it to them..

They usually eat this up, but after this the language barrier comes up and its very difficult to play a decent game.

The dutch are generally a lot better at English than the French as well, so I can imagine it is difficult for you.

Yes, the Dutch are superior to the French with English. Shouldn't be a problem in Holland among the young to find lots of English speakers. In France you would have to learn the language. Simple as that. French is pretty easy to learn though.

BTW, I thought all the British went to Latvia and Estonia for girls. You are a first! I'm not much for French girls, but the language is pretty simple. You just have to throw yourself into speaking situations. Takes courage, but it is the only way to pick it up at a fast pace. Best of luck
