I'm in a strange mood right now, and just feel like venting. I'm not really depressed, just down some. I didn't go sarging for a while so maybe I just need to get laid, LOL!


I've been into PU for quite a few years now and have gotten really good. A real zero to hero. You'll always find me at the center now. I came onto this forum thinking I'll be giving lots of advice, and maybe learning some new technique and routines.

I've been a member for about two months now (wow, that is all?) and I've found how wrong I was. Granted, I think I gave some good advice, people seem to appreciate me here, which comes as no surprise. But I also found that there is so much I did not know about pickup. At times I felt ashamed to even admit I was a pua.

Too often I find myself watching or reading other PUA material and going WTF? What is that and how does that work. Just saying I'm feeling confused right now, guess it's only natural.

Ok, this probably sounds like I need a therapy session, I'll probably regret righting this in the mourning.
Over the next few weeks I want to start posting articles with some of my greatest shifts and revelations I've had recently. I hope you all can benefit from them.

so right. i hear where ur comin from dude. and masterpua put it perfectly. the more u come to learn, the more u realize how clueless u really are.

the reason u feel like u know so little is because humans only know so little about the human psyche. how well do we really even know ourselves? so much of our behavior is unconcous. almost all pyscology is practiced theory. we dont really know for sure the way anything works up in our heads. we've discovered some things that get consistent results. e.g cognitive therapy, hypnosis... we understand chemically what goes on. but as far as behavior and personality we have only best guesses.

so people like mystery, style, juggler, ross jefferies, and dave deangelo, theyve all uncovered these little tricks and behaviors that seem consistenly work.
but the truth is, and i dont care what anyone says, pick up is entirerly situational. you have to be good in the moment. the best way to pick up is to be good on ur feet and be able to work without canned material.

you need to be good with people and quick thinking to be a successful pick up artists and no book can teach you that. only practice and expirience

you must learn to be comfortable talking to all kinds of people in all kinds of situations.

sometimes u will come across unfamiliar situations and peculiar people where maybe u dont succeed. but all situations are intricately different. so dont get bummed out over ur ignorance.
learn from it and move on.

Its a scary thought! The more you know the more you learn that you dont know anything.

White i wouldnt worry about not being a good PUA! If before you came here you were getting results and f-closing alot then you are a good PUA, its an entirely different thing putting things into practice than knowing every technique and style off by heart.
