Hi guys:

I'm in school and there is a girl that sits right behind me in class. I don't know if she is just a really social person or what, but I get a lot of IOIs from her:

-Taps me on the back with her pen
-Trys to tickle me
-Says we should talk more
-Asks what are you doing this weekend
-And much more that I can't think of right now

Since she sits behind me, it's kind of awkward to turn around and talk to her. The teacher is talking most of the time and anyone who talks when he talks, he embarrasses in front of everybody. There is a guy that sits beside her and he was talking about something going on and on and the teacher embarrassed him right on the spot, everybody started busting out laughing and she stopped talking to him.

To be honest, my game isn't too good and I'm not the most social person. I really don't have a clue on what to do in this situation. The only idea I had was when she taps me with her pen and stuff I could say: "Why don't you make yourself useful and give me a massage instead of tapping me with your pen."

Hopefully you guys in the community can give me some tips and pointers on how to handle this. Some routines/gambits/DHVs that build quick rapport would be nice, but they would have to be short because it's at school.

Your neg is good, and if said playfully will help. My take on this is look at her body language. Are her legs crossed and the top leg pointing at you. If you are talking to her does she touch and smooth her hair, not just move it from her eyes? Does she touch the back of her hand while talking? Did she ask you your name? (assuming you met her there and you didn't introduce yourself) These are all IOIs, positive IOIs.
Don't forget to give IOIs. Touch her arm or shoulder to get her attention. If she says something funny touch her arm while you laugh.
If you get her away from class and are talking to her, do some demonstration on higher value and hold her hands while reading her palms, doing magic tricks, stuff like that.
PU isn't all about what is being said verbally, but what is being said by both of you verbally and non-verbally.

I got a opinion for you. If you can ask the person next to her to switch seats with you. That way you can calmy talk to her and if you can pass notes with her. But if you sit next to her dont pay too much to her. Dont keep looking at her and when she talks to look at her for 1-2 seconds and eyes off. If you stare at her than your DLV. She must try to win u over not you.

Maybe you should just try passing notes or something, that way you guys can talk without getting in trouble (unless you get caught). This way you can build rapport through the extended "chats" during class as you create inside jokes and such. Make sure to neg her in the notes, but also make sure she knows you are joking (sarcasm is hard to convey in writing sometimes). Also try to DHV in your little messages if you can, but this might be hard b/c you're not going to be passing novels, just slips of paper. Keep it short and sweet.
