Let's say you were on day2 with a girl you met. I'm planning to to take her out for drinks. What would you do if she expects that I pay for the drinksand doesn't even bother offering?

Since you are no longer trying to pick her up (in which case I wouldn't pay for her), how would you handle this situation?

I figure if I pay for her I might come off as supplicating, but I might come off as a cheap ass if I don't pay for a drink which probably costs less than $10...

Is there anything witty I could do or say without looking supplicating or cheap?

"Hey, you know, this isn't a free ride."

Depending on her response, is how you approach.

It is generally advised NOT to pay for her, and to get each other to split the bill, or, get HER to buy YOU one (Try that).

As long as the power struggle remains on your side, Day 3 is likely, and everyone knows what's possible on day 3! xD.

If she refuses to buy the drinks, say something along the lines of "If I pay this time you have to pay next time."
