So, im at a party with a good friend. He's always a nice guy, but when we are around women, he starts saying things to the group that really lower my value, and make me look stupid.
ex, last night. "we're 17, so we still haven't got graduated licence's and have the curfew of 12". Girl asks him, what time have you got a be home, can i catch a ride with you? He stalls with an uh, oh uh, well "me, my name" parents want him home before 12. "because his license runs out at 12". But he wouldn't admit it, and had to make me look like an idiot.
There is plenty of other things he says as well like randomly making fun of how i did badly on an exam last year.
Should i talk to him before we go see anymore girls and tell him to stop insulting me? Or dish it right back out when he does it to me, if so what should i do when he does this?

Its his tactic how he makes him self the AMOG you have to teach him a lesson dishing it back just mkaes both of you look like idiots so avoid his presence and if he does find you which he will try curtly chop him down publicly i.e. "Why do you have to joke about me is your life that boring?..I know mine isnt..are you jealous shame" its all about making him look needy the exact opposite of what he is trying to acomplish but dont back down it doenst solve the problem

Good idea, but he is no pua, he is just another guy, helpless when it comes to girls. He is 17 and hasn't even kissed a women. He just hangs around with the same people as me, so i cant really avoid him either. But chopping him down will tell him 1. To fuck of 2. That he should get his own game 3. im the one working the crowd.

Apollo's approach isn't neccessarily bad I just think it's a little more advanced than you need to. If this guy is really your friend tell him to stop. If he continues it then break him down, but at least give him the chance to realize his mistake. Give him a lil advice with girls and instead of ruining your sets he may start running his own while you have yours.

Fair enough, he is a good friend of mine so i will tell him when we aren't around a bunch of people. Now, if he continues to do it, then certainly am going to chop his ass down.
