Right now Im playing with the idea of phantom social proof. The idea is that DHV'ing with details such as mentioning names of many friends involved in an incident or mentioning a cute girl who had or has a crush on you ect. inacts a phantom, invisible social proof. The girl does not see all the friends of the girl or that restauraunt staff at an itallian place that treats you like family but does it still work and does it have the same bite and seeing the social proof live.

I think it may work. But real social proof is always much better.
As well, make sure to remember the names and places and al that cuz you could get caught lying which is very bad.

regards.

Of course, we gotta make sure everything matches. I would rather have real social proof but Im new to this and when I go sarging I will probabally be alone so phantom social proof is all I have to work with for now.
I wonder if theres a way to measure the effectiveness of phantom social proof and real social proof to see how lessened the effect is with phantom.

Name dropping is not attractive. If you start talking about people she's never met, she's going to zone out. Social proof is not about names, but instead proving that you are not a loser. People know you. By dropping a hundred names, you prove you know people, but that's really not the same.

Go to the same bar every weekend for a couple of months. Get to know the bartender. Learn his name. Game all of the waitresses a little, just so that they know you on sight and like you. Meet the regulars and get in good with them. And tip like your bank account is bottomless. It takes an investment in time, energy and money that you could be using to sarge; but it will make your overall game so much better. When you're in good with one club, go to another and move back-and-forth between them. Add one more a month later, and keep yourself to those bars for most nights. You'll see your game improve tenfold with real social proof.

ya, Monkey has a good point. Today I was with a girl for coffee, and I got to say hi and smile and shake hands with a few people I have met for just seconds, but I remember their names so I go like "hey Murdok and Jessie, how are you doing guys, good to see ya!!" with a smile and positive attitude and they responded quite well. So I look like a champ although these people barely know me and viceversa.

So ya, just meet people and remember their names and you will appear cool.

:D
