So now that I've accumulated a group of numbers (7 in total, 4 who I could realistically talk to again), it's time being delving into the phone game. I read two articles and took notes on them:

SINN ARTICLE:

Text her first
-same night or next day, depending on strength of connection
-follow HER timetable of message returns
-humorous and not hitting on her

Call the following day
-better to get a machine than a person
-leave a hook message, "Hey bratface, it's Jon I just saw something about x( an interest of hers like surfing etc..) and I wanted to ask you something. Call me back 555-555-5555."
-Use time constraints
-NEVER try to get a girl out on the first phone call.
-never ask what she's doing, what's she's going to do that night etc..
-don't leave awkward silences, DHV yourself
-taking a fake call waiting call gives you a great DHV and a chance to regroup
-call her baby when you get back, if she asks why, say "oh sorry, wrong person"

If you get her friend on the phone, say you've heard a lot of good things about them and ask them if they are interested in coming with your target on whatever your time bridge was.

Get more options
-If you get a hot girl's number, it is EVEN MORE IMPORTANT that you get another number
-If you have options, it will show, whether you try to show it or not
-In the field, take advantage of the adrenaline of a # close and open another set immediately

Call with the mindset that it most likely won't work out and that you don't care
-you will come off unneedy
-it's probably true anyway

When giving the first invite, do NOT ask a girl out
-tell her you're doing something fun and she can tag along if she wants to
-tease; "I'm way more fun than whatever else you were going to do... and that's a fact!"
-If she hems and haws, or hesitates... just interrupt and say "Hey, you're the one who's missing out"

My point of view.
Fuck that! Texting is for women and pussies. Wait to text her after you've established some sort of relationship (meaning, after a second date). But yes, follow her timetable of message returns, you never want to see like you are waiting by the phone, even if you are.
Better to get a machine than a person? I don't know, I never leave messages, I personally don't have the time. She'll call back, you should have left her eager enough to want your call. Everyone has caller ID these days. I'd personally rather she pickup the phone, but if you do choose to leave a message, then the above is decent advice.

However, if and when I do leave a message, it sounds more like this, "Hey girl, you know who this is, Price Charming from last night (or whenever), hit me back ###-###-####." Music will always be loud and the message is short, it sounds like I'm doing something even if I'm not.

NEVER try to get a girl out during the first call? Bad advice, play the situation out by ear, if shes diggin you, then go for it.

Faking call waiting is fun, and it works good. Make that bitch wait a minute for you.
Solid advice, I love DD, hes one of the only "gurus" I have respect for.
