So I broke up with this girl of mine awhile back like last november and can't seem to get her out of my head... when we broke up she was still in college and I was working and all... we both thought that it would be better that we just did our own thing... I always thought in the back of my head that we would be together down the road but then I found out that she had started a new relaionship and it crushed me... real hard... I talked to her and told her that I thought things would be different and we could have better time ounce she graduated... basically pored my heart out to her and she said later... I wrote her a kind email right before she graduated to congradualate me and she never got back to me and then a texted her saying congrats... no response... so then like a week later she calls me and wants to be meet up for lunch while I am at work and I said I couldn't do it... she also called me and I didn't respond back... just didn't want to see her... I know it would hurt to much.... miss the girl a ton... would love to see her but feel that would just fuck with my head even more... how the hell do I get over this... this shit is strong... brutal... any thoughts would be great and very helpful... thanks...

Stop thinking with your heart and use your head. Look at it in a third person point of view. If this was happening to a friend of yours, instead of you, what advice would you give him? Would you tell him to keep trying to win over a girl who continually screws with him? Answer will be obvious.

I think it bothers her because I'm non-chalant about the whole ordeal, meanwhile she's probably looking for closure. She's not going to get it. I never got it and I'm cool, so she doesn't need it.

No amount of logical communcation can deter you from having one-itis you have to to let youself feel it, there's nothing you can do about the feeling but what you can do is fight the urge to ever talk to her again, delete her off your IM, delete her number do whatever it takes just don't communicate with her and you'll be fine. Just go sarging whether you like it or not, it'll help. That's what women do, they go to clubs and get hit on by like 20 guys and they feel awesome about their selves all over again. Unfortunately for men you have to go to women and try to pick them up, when you're depressed your first few sarges will be killer won't make you feel better but you keep doing it and you start to realize there's more women out there, see the main reason we have one-itis is because of scarcity mentality, you cut that off and you'll be fine.
