Has anyone here read the Venusion Arts Handbook? How long does it take to completely use everything in practice because i have found it very hard to get to grips with everything that the handbook goes through.

Vive....

It all depends on how often you go out, how fast you progress, how eager to learn you are, and who you wing with.

I'll tell people that they can learn more from 4 hours of in field work than they can of 4 days of reading.

Logically, the more you go out, the more experience you get and therefore, the more you improve. Going out only once a week is not nearly as good as going out 5 times a week, understand?

Also, depending on the person, if you have a knack for PU then you may progress faster than someone who is way worse off than AFC. You get what you put into it.

One final point, haveing a wing who knows what he (or she) is doing is very helpful. He can help you identify your sticking points, point out what you did wrong in set, give you in set advice (which is quite tricky), and help get rid of obsticles for you. A good wing is KEY.

To help you find a wing, I would suggest to check the local lair or check out PAIR:

both are great places to find someone who is about your level, and in the local area.

very good post. I am seriously considering buying Mystery's book.
I think going out, not neccesarily to talk to girls but ALSO to observe other guys style and interactions is pretty good. I want to go out and practice approaching girls but also practice observing body language when girls are flirting to other guys and stuff like that.

are there any cheaper versions of Mystery's Method book?

thanks to all.

if you don't have a whole lot of liquid to spare, you should ask a friend or two to split the VAH, DYD, etc. It is cheap, you get an instant wing, and you'll be competitive in your game. Helping each other while having some friendly competition (who can open the best, build comfort, etc.) will improve your skill set immensely.

I have only read chapter 3 of the VAH and it seems quite good, but definetly a bit advanced. I bought DYD and it is very easy read and gives you basic insight.

I am looking forward to buying the VAH and finding a wingman...but damm, it is sort of hard to find a good wingman.
