Hey guys, after i approached two girls and used the opener i ruined it because I didnt know what I should talk about after the opener... Do you think it can be anything? I mean like:" hey where are you from?" or "So how do you know each other?"...
Or is it also a good idea to start a routine right after the opener?

Peace

This is probably the most difficult part of the opening. Transitioning from the opener to normal conversation. It is best to have a plan in your head of where you can seemingly naturally lead the conversation. So if you ask a target an opinion opener you will likely get a small range of answers. Once you work out what maybe the three most common answers are you can plan how to transition from each. Obviously this is a bit boring to start with, but just get yourself one or two consistent openers and when you are comfortable with them you can have a bit more fun with it.

Also, don't ask things like 'where are you from?', 'what do you do for work?'. These questions are boring, they are what everyone asks eachother when they meet for the first time. Come up with quirkier conversations and work in ways of finding this out.

"Out of curiosity, how do you guys know each other?" They'll usually give you a brief answer, but it lets you know if your target is taken or not. Then a cold-read DHV usually works really well. I like to pick apart body-language or use the Best-friends Test, though the BFT is getting rather mainstream so I'm using it less and less lately.

Transitioning can be difficult. If you can't think of a good DHV, re-thread (start another conversation, usually just another opener you have planned).
