Usually I say something along the lines of:

"I dont wanna lie to you anymore so here it goes. I dont really feel the same way I once felt about you. It's not you its me. I kinda gotta figure out what I need. I hope you understand what I'm tryin to say. But listen, just because it didnt work out between us romantically dosent mean we cant say friends. Ok?"

Lol something along those lines works best for me.

What do you guys say?

haha you told me it was gonna happen bro! lol, thatd work if you ask me but Idk about the classic line its not you its me, I just say Im no longer attracted to you as I was when we began the relationship. hopefully they arent clingy (you know about that matt lol)
