Here's my situation: I was drinking in a group last night and this girl who knows one of my friends was there. I built attraction all night with her and towards the end of the night, she told (the entire group) to go clubbing with her on the weekend. I immediately stated that I would not be joining her and she said that my friend (another guy in the group) is coming so he'll make sure that I come.

Is it okay to let a girl dictate when we meet? Am I overthinking things? A friend of mine who is a PUA says to call her and cancel ... or just not show up with the rest of the group (who goes to the club).

One rule never say no or yes to invitations from a chick always reply with "maybe" this shows that you might make space and you might not.

Personally I think you're over-analyzing things here, if she's arranging the event then of course she is going to set the time at which you should all meet, it's not like she's imposing a frame upon you; she's simply saying "Hey guys, we're going to a party at X place on Y date at Z time!"

Were it a day2 with her and she tried to set the time you have a reason to be a little paranoid about it (I guess) but even then chances are she isn't going to try to make you comply with her demands just for the sake of it.
