I recently went on a trip and became somewhat close to a HB6, not one I planned on gaming/dating though. Anyway, I had always assumed that girls would give shit-tests subconsciously. But as we became deep into conversation about a guy and a girl who flirted a lot, I brought up the term "shit-test", assuming that she didn't really know what that meant. To my surprise, her eyes then lit up (as if to say, wow, this guy knows our trick) and she started opening up to me about the various "shit-tests" she and her girlfriends use to make sure the guy is worthwhile. Personally, I thought it was humorous, as well as somewhat disturbing to know that they deeply discuss this stuff when around other girls. In a way, I guess this is no different from us.

Having female friends is very good for your game. You learn how their mind works by watching it and I can say it often surprises me.

I would say it is better to sit in a conversation where girl talk is being used. Because the things girls say when using girl talk I have found a lot more valuable than talking to a female friend. As you get to see the thinking process and what have you from hearing the girl talk a lot more than if you where to just talk to a girl.
