Agreed. Negs went too far in the old days. The best "neg" is what poeticlyskuac says, light teasing.

The classic line by Mystery "you're losing me!" is a good example of this. You just teasingly play off of the girl - she laughs. It's all in fun and she knows it - the magic of it is that 99% of guys don't have the stones to pull this shit off so you come off as unique.
