So its been a while. I just ended a four month relationship with a girl and now I'm back in the game. I made the mistake of slipping back into AFCland so now I'm a bit rusty. I slipped off the forums and stopped sarging. Glad to be back guys.

The funny thing is, there are aspects of the game that you can practice/develop even while in a relationship. Such as teasing, playing games, being alpha. In fact, you said you slipped back into AFC land, so I'm wondering if that had something to do with the relationship being over now? I know when you're alpha sarging, or in a relationship, it makes a difference both ways. Relationships tend to last longer when your alpha, just as being alpha helps when you're sarging. Anyway, welcome back.

VERY true. ive never felt more anti-AFC and more confident than when i had a "gf", even if i didnt like her much. unfortunetly i had to end that though, it became so boring after a while

Welcome back to the playing field, jmark. I know what you mean by saying that you slipped back into AFC mode within a relationship. It's a biologically natural inclination to become more of a provider after you establish an ongoing sexual relationship with a woman because your body is telling you, "My baby might be in that chick's body so I must protect her and provide for her so that I can ensure the successful replication of my genes." Some people call it "love" and some people call it "AFC mode" and the RSD guys might call it "being a chode" lol.

Of course there are ways to rise above all that, but it's a lot easier to be a sound-minded and well-rounded PUA when you are in the glorious situation you are in now: the single life.

I disagree. I wouldn't say it's easier. Just that it's different. In fact, some guys would find it harder to be a PUA while being single, because they are so desperate, because they are single. Everyone's different.
