I find PUA very interesting because it shows how simple human beings are, how linear. The fact that tone of voice, word choice, posture, etc. can greatly influence a persons mental state and how they think [about you] is intriguing.

I can honestly care less about picking up chicks but using PUA techniques in day to day life and situations is a good experience.

pua is amazing you can really see the effects of pue in high school sometimes you have bad days right? they always seem to start off bad for me it seems if something good happened in the morning i got confident altered my posture and stuff naturally and the rest of the day went well, now i keep my posture and voice and stuff right and it continuosly goes as well as i can get it using thouse things it still could get better

I cant understand why you could'nt care less about picking up girls. You must have a low sex drive or not have much love for the game. I think its fun and enjoy the challenge and all the flirting. But is'nt that the main goal, to pick girls up and become successful at it and with women.

I think because picking up women shouldn't be the main focus in my life right now. I have 3 things at this moment that will always be of priority over any girl.

1) Family
2) Education
3) Financial Status

A girl isn't going to get me through school, write my essays, study, most likely it is just a distractive. Though, a very pretty distraction.

Also, they drain funds. Plain and simple. You can always do the cheap dates, but that gets boring and too routine. I need money and I need to be stable for the future.

I am not out everyday looking to pickup a chick. If the opportunity arises, then I will take a stab at it.

I have been practicing a DHV story. I used it on my potential client (70 year old man) and I landed a million dollar account. Nothing gay about it, demonstrating higher value through anecdotes worked. I did practice the story for picking up women, but I got nervous because it was my first big money client. The PUA books also tell me to work out, focus on the way I dress, improve my whole life, but having a canned opener get me over the "I have nothing to say to her" if I see a HB. DHV stories are similar to my friend that started Seminary (to become a minister) this year. First day of Seminary he was told to practice anecdotes. Same as practicing DHV stories.

What im saying is and what i was saying was, i dont get why this guy doesn't care about picking up chicks, i mean its the reason why we started to learn this in the first place.

I'm convinced that he has a point. It isn't only about "picking up girls." It's about confronting our own AFCs, which for many guys like us emerge around beautiful women. The AFC emerges in other areas as well, like an AMOG situation, or when you're talking with your boss. Life is game.

PUA is not about picking up girls. It's about imporving your life. Most guys enter PU with the intent of sleeping with a bunch of girls, but eventually realize that there's more to life.

What he's saying is that he no longer feels the need to sleep with a bunch of women, not that he doesn't want to sleep withwomen ever again. This is a good thing, because it means that he has achieved a balance with all aspects of his life.

I get what he is saying, PUA can be used in all forms of life. I am just starting, step 1 in my journey, but I'm keen to learn and focus!

If I am going to put 1-2 hours a day into this, then I don't want it to only improve my performance with Woman, but in all aspects of life, it is an investment...
