Okay I was at lunch today and this girl asked me out to the prom and I basically said "hold on I got to get lunch" and I pretty much disappeared from then on.

This girl is really sweet and all. Shes the nicest person you could have. Its been obvious that she likes me and I've been playing it for weeks. I've been, you know smiling and talking back to her but never flirting (i think).

Her asking me out to the prom is just out of line.

I do not know what to say. I promised / planned on going to the prom with my friends so I can't say "i'm not going to the prom". But if thats the case then what is my excuse for not going to the prom with her?

The last thing I want to do is tell her that "I want to go to the prom, just not with you".

But as for her looks, I wouldn't do her, kiss her even when I'm horny. She isn't fat or anything just not my type u know? I dont think shes ugly; shes just not my type.

p.s. - I'm by no means degrading this girl nor making me seem good. There is a slim chance I would even get a date for the prom. Most likely I will just be in the prom alone. Put that in consideration before posting a reply

Best advice I can give you is to tell her this, or something similar:

"Actually I have had my eye on this other and would like to ask her before I answer your question."

Followed by "I want actually just planning on going with my buddies"

Since this is high school I would guess these would work, but keep in mind that you ant to be a PUA, so I would go with the first and then APPROACH, unless there is some reason you want to go alone.

You led her on. You should've given her the friend speech a long time ago. Now you have to man up and deal with the consequences. Obviously you can't take her to the prom, for many reasons one of which is you simply don't want to. So gently let her down, but DO let her down---let her know that you feel like she's your little sister, and that you just don't have the same feelings for her. If you got a pair you better give her a response, rather than weasel your way out and find a reason to disappear again.
