In a month or so I may go visit an HB10 I met last weekend at a convention in her town. The catch here is that the convention is like an 8 hour drive from me, and I'd have to spend money on a hotel. I'd say it's worth it if it's pretty much a guaranteed lay with an HB10. I've never had a 10 before. How can I feel out if we're going to hook up or not before booking my hotel?

This past weekend when I met her I didn't close, but I did get her facebook.

Over the weekend we flirted, danced, and I was the only dude she grinded on (which she did of her own accord. I didn't sneak up from behind or anything). She also said something with very sexual undertones to me. Yeah I know I should've closed.

I already messaged her on facebook and she laughs at my jokes, sends winks, etc. I know she gets a lot of messages too, but she seems to be a girl who responds to most everyone. I told her I might go to a convention in her town in like a month, and she said "You should definitely come! It's a blast" blah blah blah.

Someone suggested I ask her if we can hang out just the two of us before booking my hotel. I think that's a pretty good start. I almost want to be a bit more forward and say something like "I'd like to come up to your town, but only if we're going to be more than friends." That may sound a little needy and demanding, but it gets the point across that I don't want to drive 8 hours only to confirm I'm in the friend zone...

In the mean time, at some point I'll ask for her number. Maybe in a week since there's no rush, but I think if she won't give me her number theres no way she'd hook up with me.

So you grinded on her - big deal man. 8 hrs is a long ass way to drive for a chick. The entire act of doing it smells like needy to me - unless you've got another reason or a pretense to be there (ie: there on business).

Unless you kick up the flirt with this girl and are having cyber sex with her every night, I don't know how you can guarantee yourself that you'll get lucky if you make the trip.

Definitely not. What I was getting at is whether or not I can somehow determine if I would get laid before booking a hotel and driving 8 hours. I don't think I have her automatically in the sack now, but I think I could have closed previously based on other IOI's she gave me. I think I just screwed it up.
You're right that cyber sex would be a good tell. Interestingly, things are progressing in that direction. If I get to that point, I'll book my hotel.

Get her to come to your town

You'll never know for sure. Maybe she meets another dude before you make your move, maybe you say something stupid and she loses any interest. Maybe you never had as much of her attention as you thought. Hell, maybe she gets too drunk to have sex.

So don't do it. There are hot chicks all around you. Don't spend money on seeing a girl you haven't fucked yet.
