Someone asked a question on yahoo answers, why do girls like one direction? And one girl posted this creepily obsessive answer:

They auditioned for x factor seperate, and soon got put together as a boy group by simon cowell, they later on came 3rd in the show,
But that didnt stop them, the persued on to make their dreams a reality and the sucseeded and are now the biggest boy band alive,
They aren't in it for the money, they aren't loved only for their looks and the fame,
We who truly love them, love them for who the are as genuine people, they are funny, happy, crazy, positive, down to earth guys and they are always here for us, no matter what, they have never hurt us, (yes, I know, your thinking, well obviously, you've never met them, and all of us already realised that, the point is, is that they haven't ever done anything to make us disappoint us or feel threatened)
When our families friends, aren't here for us, when we get bullied, abused, when we have lost all hope they are here to save us,
They sing our feelings and live out our dreams, we feel loved by them,
They make us feel like we know them, like we have met them, even though most of us will never meet them in our entire life time,
Its sad to face the cold truth, but we do,
They are what gives us the ability to feel confident, make us feel happy in our own skin and believe in our self,
And this probably sounds weird to you but for us its life, and we have been through everything together us fans,
Bullying, directionaters, carrots, girlfriends, the video diaries, albums, tours, hate, love, friendships, x factor, funny moments, bromances, romances larry and Elounor wars, crying yourself to sleep, rumours,spoons, mirrors, cats, nandoes, stipes, twitcams, dramas, emotions, twitter, and knowing they will never follow us, posters, movies, laughing, fighting, memes,
We are in this together as a family,
And being able to relate to hundreds of thousands of people all over the world makes me so happy :")
The thought of knowing that they don't even know we exist is so painful, but that doesn't stop us, its just how it is, there is no denying the truth
But in our eyes they are perfect,
The way their eyes light up when they laugh, each to their own quirks and specialities, their personalities, the way the love life, the way they put their family first and haven't left behind their old life, its just everything about them,
Nobody will ever understand or love for them,
And I can guarantee them that I will love and never forget them well into my elder years,
till the day I die and forever onwards
We have them to thank for everything
And plus, they couldn't have that many admirers just for their looks and fame, it just doesn't make sense doesn't it, that's why you are asking this question,
And that's the point, they are different from all the others, they are genuine people, not fakes,
Now you may be thinking well its your hormones, or emotions, or your crazy and delusional, your lying, its just an age thing, a phase,
Well come to us in the next 50 years,
We'll be sitting in our wheel chairs blasting live while we're young ;D
But now don't get me wrong, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, you are allowed to dislike them and express those feelings outwards, so I'm not trying to convince you that you are wrong neither am I trying to get you to like them, I'm merely just giving you the answer to your question
