I've done some introspection and found that I think I'm naturally more of a rake. However, after getting into PUA stuff I've learned and been conditioned to be more of a coquette. Because of this I now feel as though I'm not being my true self. I'd like to be able to change this. Can I go about releasing my natural rakishness after being conditioned to be a coquette? How do I go about releasing it? I've been getting into Zan Perrion's stuff more recently and I think that's helping a bit. Any thoughts?

First off: STOP reading books on how to be your natural self. The only person who knows your natural self best; is you!

Now secondly, you need to break away from what you learned and go back to what you know. Who were you before you got into pick up? Look at where you came from and how you were brought up.

Now thirdly: Incorporate everything you know about yourself and learned about pua. Even if you have to write up a little before and after chart to see how to eliminate something that could have been an issue, or a negative in your life, and turn it into a positive. Say you were previously the guy who had an issue maintaining something like eye contact. You know that this is a vital area in all pick up and that you must eliminate that.

Now do the same for the positives. Look at how you can maintain those aspects about yourself and look at which areas the PUA lifestyle have asked you to change them. Take the time to reflect on it and why they asked and then meet in the middle.

1. Stop trying to "release" your "natural self"
2. Breathe. Feel alive.
3. Do what needs to be done, and do it well with a smile.

Meditation and spirituality can make these things easier, but that's essentially it right there.

Also THIS. Labels don't mean anything, dude. Robert Greene is great and all but not every person fits neatly inside a box defined by someone else.
