Cali’s Perspective of the Nashville Meet-up

<a href="http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r157 ... 1_0254.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r157 ... 1_0254.jpg" border="0" alt="Nashville PMZ"></a>
(In very back is Joe Bazooka. Starting on the left in the second row is Medic, Kino, Ka, Jsmooth, Locke, Cali, Tripp, and Paramour. In the bottom row is The Doctor and Zip.)

I had a blast! It was so cool being able to meet everyone from the forum. Tripp told me I ought to write about what I seen happen in Nashville . . . kind of my own Field Report, if you must say. I’m not going to write this on what I did, but rather what I seen each person done. So, here goes . . .

Locke, “The Rockstar” – He was rocking it the whole entire weekend! Every time I seen him at the clubs he was involved in set after set after set. I was very proud of him and told him that several times. I also enjoyed being able to have him use me as a wingwoman Saturday night when we were checking our coats in. The funny thing about it . . . he didn’t even realize that I was giving him social proof and pre-selection until I pulled him closer to tell him. Once it clicked with him, he started looking around and noticing several IOI’s and looks his way. Locke, you were a real joy to get to know and I forgive you for spilling your drink all over me!

Ka, “The Camera Operator” – I don’t think Ka realized this, but he actually opened the middle aged front desk lady at the hotel. We were taking group pictures and he started talking to her about the camera he has. Yeah, it probably would have never gone anywhere, but at least it counted as an open! I also heard he opened a few sets using his digital camera as a peacocking tool. Ka, it was a blast hanging out with you!

Joe Bazooka “The Guy in Pink” – LOL! That’s what we called Ka’s little brother at first because no one knew or remembered his name. “Where’s the guy in pink?” “What’s the guy in the pink shirt’s name?” were just a couple of questions that was asked several times Friday night and Saturday morning. It wasn’t until Joe Bazooka finally broke out of his shy shell on Saturday people started to learn his name. I didn’t really see him opening any sets myself, but I did see Joe Bazooka prowling the club for his next “victim”.

Kino “The Myspace King” – I didn’t see Kino much over the weekend, but from what I heard . . . he was rocking the clubs AND the mall too! I enjoyed being able to help Kino open a two set by dancing with him and giving him social proof and pre-selection. Kino, you can dance . . . just don’t be stiff at first! LOL! I was also proud of Kino when one of the girls he was working on added him as a friend on Myspace the next morning! So obviously she remembered him out of several people that night. THAT, my friends, is what we call a good catch!

Jsmooth “The Laidback One” – Okay . . . here’s the good thing about J . . . he’s laidback, but at the same time has an easy, outgoing personality. He’s definitely a smooth operator when it comes to social proof. He got 11 people (including himself) into a club in front of 50-100 people two nights in a row! Not to mention, he knew several of the workers inside. I also seen him with a few sets. Friday night I seen J bounce to another floor of the club with a chick. Saturday night, he and Kino bounced to a complete different club with two girls. J, I now understand why they call you “smooth”!

Medic “The Quiet One” – At first meeting this guy, I thought he was going to be the more talkative one out of the bunch, but over the weekend I barely heard a peep out of him or seen him much. I am very proud of Medic though for opening a bartender at The Fuel club. He had the bartender in his hands. At one point, I seen the bartender flirting with Medic by holding a drink cup in front of her breasts while sticking them out the whole time. Yea, Medic!

The Doctor “The Serious One” – At first the whole guyliner and mascara threw me for a loop and didn’t know what to take of it, but the more I got to know him the better it looked on him. Doc had his moment of being serious and having fun. He was very serious when it came to teaching others and sarging, but all the while he was able to have fun and joke around. (We got pictures to prove it!) LOL!

Zip “The Classy One” – Zip was very unique in her own way. I have never seen anyone in person that was able to pull off the “Victorian” look in everyday wear. I appreciated her help when it came to clothes and hair. I do apologize to her for “blowing” her off Friday night at the club when she offered to teach me about winging. I didn’t mean to, but I had a slight buzz at the moment from my drink and wasn’t thinking clearly enough to think about winging. Sorry, Zip!

Paramour “Houdini” – Here one minute, gone the next. Every time we turned around it seemed like Par was gone. She was very keen on “doing her own thing”. She was often seen dancing with other guys at the club or shopping on her own at the mall. I don’t know HOW many times I had to text the girl “Where you at?”! But all in all, I had fun with her. It was a blast having another girl around that I was able to talk to and had my sense of style when it came to shopping. I can’t wait to hang out with you again, Par!

Tripp – He’s my husband, so of course I’m gonna have good things to say about him. He and I both opened up some sets . . . some together and some separately. He’s still disgusted at himself because there was a couple of sets that he could have pushed further but didn’t. This weekend he really wasn’t worried about opening several sets himself because he wanted to put himself out there for the guys. You guys may not have noticed but he did try to help the few that he could find or found him. When the guys didn’t need him, he was off doing his own thing or we were dancing together to give him pre-selection and social proof. After going out to the clubs, he would talk to the guys about what happened, what could have happened, or what to do next time around.

So there’s my perspective for this past weekend. I’m probably missing a LOT of details, but my mind is frazzled from over stimulation. I normally don’t go to clubs two nights in a row, do lots of walking the next two days, AND meeting SEVERAL new people. I got some sleep last night, but I’m still completely drained! I hope the others aren’t as worn out as I am! Miss you all!

~Cali Tripp

hell yea Cali, it was a great time and you got everyone described pretty damn well.

You did social proof the hell out of me @ the beginning. I think because of that exact moment, which I did not realize until now, I was able to get the close on the coat check girl.

Not only that part, but the fact that you were out watching and critiquing and giving feedback to all of us helped A LOT. I think the feedback was so well put that it improved us all. You also maintained a "safety zone"...a comfort zone for the group to come back to. Without that zone, i think everyone would have fizzled off a lot sooner. It is really awesome the way it works. A recharge station!

It was great meeting you....oh, and there will be more!

vibe you prick. do that somewhere else....not in a fucking FR.

Damn attention seeking douche drum. I would spit in your mouth if you were here.

I don't care what you think of someone, their PUA skills, or them personally. This is not the place. You havn't even met these people.

Go enjoy the center of a busy street filled with lots of speeding cars.
Ok, I really missed something here! Where does Vibe fit in? Did he or someone else already delete his post?

Locke, it didn't even click with me about the coat check girl until you just said it! Wow!

Doc, I LOVE this pic too. It's SO fun!

Vibe made an off topic, insulting post... and yes I deleted it.

Yea, Cali you were awsome this weekend. Social proof at fuel while we danced, but not really any sets to open. If i had a pair i woulda opened those 2 chicks dancing together but i wasnt ready.

Good report too, seems like you got to see a bit about everyone.

My question is . . . why did these guys wait until AFTER we came back from Nashville to bash us? It just seems a little odd.

Thanks for the kind words I think you described me extremely well! It was a pleasure meeting you. Wish we could have worked more together but I'm sure future events will allow us to.

Now, J, that's pretty good when you can reply to a post and be talking to Tripp on the phone at the same time. LOL! You two have something in common.
