I was a bad boy in my late teens with medium success with women then found the "perfect" girl, got married for 5 years and became an AFC. Realised I wasn't happy, got divorced, saw an article about pickup on AskMen.com. Bought The Game, Mystery Method, Radical Honesty, My Secret Garden, Adam Lyons' Diary of a Pickup Artist and W.Anton's What Women Want and How to Give it To Them. The rest is history!

A friend of mine goes "hey Vic did you notice that Bla bla was giving you interest eyes?"

I was like "WTF are interest eyes?"

She goes "that girl wants you.... do you get stuck in the friend zone a lot?"

I was like "well yeah.... every time."

Then she goes "let's go inside and watch this show "The Pick Up Artist"".

I go inside to watch the show and she says "It's stupid but girls really are this stupid. This stuff will work on them."

Then I came online started reading some stuff.

Bought the game... Read some Mystery, hated it as it suppressed my personality, it wasn't me.

Fell in love with body language (it's my specialty) since I began to realize I attracted a shit load of girls and had been clueless for a while. After that I began to realize I was too needy, too afraid of rejection, so I began to work on myself (I had a ton of self-confidence but low self-esteem as weird as that sounds).

I didn't really start picking up girls until the last 3 as I let my personality do all the work and let girls pick up on me consistently (reacted to their body language due to my skill level with it). Pretty crazy but I was super smooth with girls without actually picking them up. Now I can honestly say it's not hard to pick up a girl... a lot of the reason is because of how much I've worked on myself, but my body language knowledge has helped immensely as well (I can connect with girls because "I read their thoughts so well".

I just come on here these days to give advice and read interesting threads. Gone are the days when I came to seek advice and validation.

I was so pathetic and desperate that I tried to kill myself. Fortunately that didn't really work out.
I found pickup and I made a 180 degree turn. Now I'm one of the best.

Started 3 years ago, when I found some strange site about pick-up by chance. The book was called Magical Tactics. I read it and everything I read was total bullsh*t to me, because to me it didn't make any sense at all.

Then, 2 years ago, when I visited my oldest brother at his college room, he showed me Neil Strauss 'The Game'. I was having an introduction day for a study at college in case I wanted to go for that particular study. In between 2 lessons I had 2 hours time, so I read the first chapters and I was curious. When I got back home I immediatly downloaded it and read it. However, I only read it, and never really practiced the pick-up until summer vacation. That's when I used the opener: "Omg, have you seen those 2 girls fighting outside?" It was the first time I made cold approaches and damn I crushed and burned with every interaction. Every girl was like; "who the hell is this loser?" (I heard one ask that to her friend I was talking to). Eventually I decided that this just couldn't work.

After 4 months of no success I started reading it again, and he mentioned the Community; THIS community. At the time that I signed up I had kissed 11 girls and had sex with 1 (back then I was 17 I believe). I read some topics, did the things but they never worked (offcourse). Then in the summer I read AFCDaniel's journal and I got inspired to write one myself. So only after really starting the journal and actively practising the approaches, conversations, kino, but also developing my inner game, body languague and outer game, I noticed differences. The only time I actually started to become better, was when I started writing about my experiences on this forum. Be inspired and go out! Even though I have still much to learn, I like this pick-up community.

I stumbled upon an article on AskMen.com, got curious and started reading some online material, not on a regular basis though. I was in a LTR back then, so I just started to pick up my gf again and again, which was probably the best phase in the relationship. About half a year ago, I seriously started getting into pickup materials, which was towards the end of said LTR. I realised that I was already doing many of those PUA things, but not conciously. I ended the LTR two months ago, and I'm discovering my strengths in PUA: text game and fucking with people's minds (combine that with a couple of card tricks and you're set!).

Honestly, I don't even remember how I got into this. I may have seen the show The Pick Up Artist and was intrigued. Next thing you know, I look up mystery method on amazon and then see the game by Neil Strauss and here we go, on to the PUA mantra. I was a natural before PUA, but depression hit me hard and I started to slowly lose confidence. Just had no motivation anymore. The join date next to my name is when I went deeper into the material. It has been two years and I believe that most of this stuff isn't for me. There are a few gems here and there but a lot of it can mess with you.


Right now, I am reviewing my past history and saw that I didn't need any of this stuff. I was doing perfectly fine on my own natural ability. The process now is to recover my naturalness. I do not regret this journey though. I know that this will be a hobby of mine for the rest of my life. Social interactions in the work place, family, friends, and in my dating life will be my focus. Not just women. Hopefully I can help others in the future. Become an instructor and show them how to live with a purpose.

I was in Bookstore just browsing, saw a little black bible looking book with gold words " the game: penerating the secret society of pickup artists" out of curosity, i read the first three chapters, I was hooked and wanted to read more, so I bought it went home and started finish reading the book, while the ideas and the world of pickupartists seemed weird and preposterious to me, the basic underlying ideas of the way women operate began to dawn on me and changed my whole views on women, so I got Erik Von Markovic's Mystery method book, read it and reread it, then moved on to the david deangelo's cocky/funny and NLP, Speed seduction, Tony Clink's the Layguide, as years progressed went on to Love Systems'smagic bullets, rountines manuel 1 and 2, Badboy lifestyles, Dean cortez M.A.C.K T.A.C.T.I.C.S, Owen Cook aka Tyler Durden's RSD (Real Social Dynamics), etc , then went on to reading the art of SMALL TALK, and several body language books, basically absorbing the knowledge of social dynamics, and learning the social arts and applying it to the field, getting field experience in social interactions, and calibrating my game, before long I realize I was soon doing the PUA and realized that the story from the game did have some truth to it. So Neil Strauss aka Style's The Game: penerating the secret society of pick up artist, was the inspiriation to my start in the world of Seduction Artists. soon JTyler was born.This was in the year of 2006.

Read reviews for The Game on Amazon. Was intrigued, bought it and read each chapter twice. Barely did any pick-up but I found this format and started doing some stuff that I had never done before. That was fall 2007. About a year into it I k-closed a girl and got to second base (old school). In August 2008, I fell into an episode of bad mental health that has not subsided. (I have had three such episodes since October 2001.) I will be 27 on Sunday I am still a virgin. I never go out because I work nights and dating is of little interest to me. I used to be desperate and insecure about still being a virgin but that is not the case anymore. If/when I start working days maybe that will change. I am more focused on finding a career-oriented job right now and battling my mental health issues. Actually, this does (sort of) suck. I usually look at fighting game videos, MtG stuff and porn before pick-up (big sigh). I am more confident and secure than I used to be for sure. I have had a tough time getting out of my own way in life. Pick-up showed me more than anything, what I am capable of. No girlfriend, no sex and no care either is okay for the time being. That will change someday.

I never knew how to close or take things further, then I got stuck in the friends zone. For about 2 years in high school I was infatuation before I manned up in the last year of highschool and told her I loved her over facebook, yikes. lol

I read some A2damir if anyone has ever had of that badboy on fast seduction and found his Lay Reports crack up and awesome. I tried to apply some of the concepts but ultimately some worked and some didn't.

I then studied in the city, where I sarged the shit out of that place and was crazy as fuck. I improved more because I wasn't afraid of being sexual and I had learnt more about social dynamics and had help from posters on this forum, specifically with texting. Pickup changed my life. I went from normal to a sexual beast.

I only had one gf in highschool and it wasnt even serious. I had a handful of chances to get with girls when I was younger but was such a noob and soooooo inexperienced that I couldn't even notice the signs til it was too late. I felt ashamed of myself watching guys that had less looks and a lot of times even just as much (or rather, less) game than me succeed while I felt left behind. I always had a passion for science and nature, and I made a stand and promised myself that I would avenge myself and truly get this area of my life handled... The science of relationships and attraction. I had to become an expert on the subject.

Wanting options was and still is my main driving force...

I was in a band with a few of my classmates, and we had these cute girls come over and hang out with us every weekend. I ended up making out with her on my futon, and after about a week, I asked her to go to the movies with the rest of us. She turned me down, and told me we would be better off as friends. I had heard the "LJBF" shpeeel a few times before, but this was the straw that finally broke the camels back...

I googled "What do girls really want?" or "How do you get girls?" or some shit like that... I found "The Game" and tried to print the PDF off my computer. After realizing this was going to cost me a fortune in ink and paper, I aborted the mission and decided to just buy the hard copy instead. One of the best decisions of my life. Before long I was studying DeAngelo's shit and getting emails from self proclaimed "Gurus".

After reading stories of "Mystery's Lounge" in "the game", I decided to search for a forum, and joined you guys on here, 2 years back now.

I am happy that I am here right now learning with all of you. My eyes were opened for the first time. It was quite liberating.

My lifestyle has begun to change thanks to pick-up. Men helping men. I've always loved that idea. This really is brotherhood...

It came to me in a drreeeaaammmm

Went to Majorca with nine mates back in 1996, every one of them pulled except me. Sat on the beach on the last night with a bottle of jack and decided no matter what it took I would get good with women. Got home and researched the then fledgling PUA scene till I got a handle on things and my AA. Two years later banged my first HB10, next year had banged more hotties than any of my mates, two years after that had banged more than them all put together.

Started designing my own method back in 2008 and never looked back.

Then...holiday reunion with 8 of the original guys. 7 nights 7 lays and on second last night extracted a seated Scandinavian HB10 in a noisy club who was surrounded by 8 or 9 other guys, banged her within the hour.

That night in 1996 changed my life and changed it for the better; all it took was drive, determination and research and lots and lots of practice. Anyone can do it if they want it bad enough.
