Since getting into the comunnity only a week or so ago (although I've read so much over the years), i've realized something about trying to be a PUA and my own motivations:

First: When I start to slide into the mindset of really focusing on myself and what I want to get from a woman, I noticed that I struggle with thoughts of morality and ethics and wondering who I'm becoming.

Second: When I have an experience that a woman has genuine attraction and I leave with her feeling good about the interaction, then all of a sudden i'm not worried about the above things. I feel like I've done a service for the woman. In contrast, that makes me feels good about the things I'm learning and who I'm becoming.

To put it in context: The last couple days I've seen myself slide more into the "what can i get from the woman" mentality and woke up this morning feeling a bit scuzzy. Later on I went to a store and interacted with an older lady (probably late 40's) whom I'm certain I felt leaving unexpectedly warm in certain places; I don't plan to follow up but I feel like I did her a service as I know I brightened her day. As well, I left with a bit of a boner and feeling great about myself. *win-win*

Which brings me to my thoughts on the matter:

I don't know how tight this forum community is, but seriously, if you catch me slipping into douchery or asking questions that are generally considered of poor taste, than you are welcome to call me on it (nicely) and let me know if you want me to do the same for you.
