I know this is a broad topic but I thought a discusion on it may be interesting and beneficial.

I know that a lot of the PUA and PUG use PU material for everyday things other than to PU women. For example I read recently that The Sneak used PU skills to upgrade his flight to first class. Anyone have any tips on how to go about using our PU skills for things other than sarging?

It has made me a lot more capable as far as my negotation abilities go and how well I can phrase stuff, so I manage to make work a little easier as far as the beaucratic garbage goes. Nothing I like more than sweet talking the dispatchers into giving me nice easy jobs, getting people in one work group to do me a favor and do something that another workgroup is supposed to do, because there's a wait to talk to them, or getting a customer to decide to get a contractor into do some work that I could do, because they'll save $10 and I just didn't want to do it. Makes life a little more bareable some days.

Sure, that may make me sound like a horrible person and a lazy bad worker, but all it is, is knowing how to work the system and get the breaks where you can get them, cause if you don't, other people will.

Like hobbit i have noticed i use it in almost every social interacton.

This gay guy came into my store. He was being very Alpha. Trying to control the situation. He was looking at beds and was trying to work a deal.

Gay guy: Wow! Why is this bed so expensive?!
Me: Its not expensive. $1100 for this bed is pretty good, especially considering the style.

I lock eyes with him, give him a little smile and then he looks away first.

Gay guy: I like you. I like someone thats not going to bull shit me.
Me: Thank you.

I just kept remebering to keep eye contact with him, give kind of a cocky smile and just make sure he knew that I was serious.

See Kay: I would seriously appreciate it if you used your PUA skills to sarge me a free bed (not necessarily as expensive as the one you mentioned), I'm sleeping on two matresses (one on top of the other). Sure, the ladies love it (bouncy!!!), but I think a cool bed with a funky frame would be a bit more appropriate...

As for the usefulness of PUA skills in general: they are incredibly versatile. I have sarged myself quite a few nice items (free coffee, extra cash for a book I was selling etc. - I'm working on a free bed from See Kay ). It makes you a more confident person, and I'm now more comfortable in dealing with all social situations, be it with my family, friends etc. I have also met a few incredibly interesting male friends - one of them is teaching me hypnosis for non-pickup related purposes.

The pickup arts have definitely enriched my life (cheesy) in many areas. I would imagine 3 hands and Ka could have some seriously interesting input here, can't wait to see what they write.

As has been said, you use these skills in ever daily interaction. If you think about it, PU related skills teach you how to make FRIENDS with other Alpha males, if for no other reason than to disarm them. Obviously, individuals on this very thread have taken that outside of pick up and used it with success.

My wife and I were at my club last night and one of the sets we opened was another married couple. The woman had a personality like mine, and the guy was obviously not the leader of the couple. I made quick friends with him, right off the bat. My wife made the comment that I just made a new buddy. I said that's the point, it's not all just about the hot girls. She said most guys don't understand that.

Ace - If I didn't live in the middle of Arkansas, here in the US, I would trade you a bed that the ladies love for some salsa/pua lessons. Ive got a cheap bed (retailed for like $300) some nice dressers and a lounge that looks like a sex chair in my room and a black and red rug to tie it all in. A decent bed frame really does impress women. Most have seen too many matresses on the floor or old ass headboards that when they see my room its pretty impressive. (not to too my own horn).

Anyway, back on topic. The biggest improvement I have seen in the past two months is that I wont let anyone intimidate or attempt to make me look like a bitch.

My buddy the other day came up to my store. We busted each others balls for a moment and he made a 'mom joke' towards me that was more insulting than funny. I told him if he ever said anything like that to me again I would smash his face. It was really not cool. Then as he was taking off he cursed infront of one of my clients, and that pissed me off again. I told him it was unnacceptable. I could tell my client appreciated it.

Anyway, I am learning to become alot more Alpha than ever before.
