Psychologist such as Freud and Jung noticed that their patients often fell in love with them. By asking the patients questions about their feelings while at the sametime the patients knew very little about the Therapist, the patients began to project fantasies and feelings on to the therapist. The notion was that they were transferring feelings of affection from someone else such as a parent, sibling or close childhood friend onto them. A recent movie called Trance with Rosario Dawson gives a dramatic portrayal of this.

Let's re-examine a few things in the pick tool bag.

1.) The Opinion Opener. Guys might say the purpose of this is just to get social acceptance or just to break the ice. However, by putting your self in need of an opinion, in need of help, this portrays you as harmless to the female. She feels a sense of power and that allows her to relax. No guards are up.

2.) With the girl now relaxed she becomes comfortable talking about how she feels: Dreams, Fears, Memories, Past.

3.) By remaining mysterious, not talking to much and not revealing things about yourself, you allow her to project feelings onto you even if they are unrealistic.
