Hey guys!

Imagine you found out you have a high risk HPV the-scariest-part-of-pua-vt59051.html and all doctors tell you it's transmitted not only by sexual activity but also skin-to-skin including kissing.

Heck, am I too young or will there ever be a possibility to pick up a girl without a kiss close before doing a full close?

Yesterday I had a ONS and unfortunately I was hammered. I still wanted to avoid kissing but at some point women jump on you and kiss you - and you go along with it. They take the first steps when you don't make them :?

Or another question: Do you even care about transmitting? Morality? HPV is not nearly as dangerous as HIV for example, but the two STDs (IIRC) that are transmitted skin-to-skin are HPV and herpes, and both are not curable. It means you "mark" that girls forever!

I don't think any girl would let me close her if I told her beforehand about it (especially when drunk) or making up some roleplay stories that she is not allowed to kiss me all night long blabla not my style :(

Am I out of Pickup?

Hawk

Yeah man, you're screwed. HPV is the least common and most deadly thing out there...

You have a responsibility as a man and as a citizen of Earth to disclose any potential longterm consequences of fucking, kissing or otherwise being involved with you BEFORE anything happens. Anything less, particularly when dealing with a disease that could threaten her life, is nothing short of negligent homicide.

Your boy,

Why are you guys saying he is out? From what I read this is a very common virus and most people don't even have symptoms. The only down side is that there is more chance to cervical cancer for the girl if she catches it. Plus it also says that transmission through kissing is very unlikely. I don't think he has that much to worry about. Just strap good anytime you fuck.

I agree. If you do your research its not an STD that causes you daily trouble. In fact with 90% of cases the human body's immune system cures it entirely in 2 years. Worst comes to worst wait that long. Let the girls know that you have it, but dont make it sound like you had aids and will kill everyone. Thats sort of what it came off as in this post which is why many people instantly told you your out. Just make sure she knows

I dont know if people read the title only but he clearly said it was a high risk HPV which just means there is a higher risk of cancer. I don't even think he has to mention it unless he is fucking without a condom. I would bet mostly everyone here that is sexually active has it but don't know about it because the immune system takes care of it. Keep your head up bro, its not a biggie. Just don't fuck random girls without being fully strapped.

Sounds like you need to talk to a doctor about this more, to see if its one of those 'technically transmittable by skin to skin' or a no shit 'skin to skin'. If the later, its your job to warn any girls before it gets that far.

Lol, that's some massive discrepancy in answers.

The problem here is definetly not the STD, but morality. Higher risk of cancer, who cares. Some smoke, some don't.

My dermatologist told my it is transmittable by kissing and all sorts of sex but not by sharing a glass or straw or lollipop.

So the kissing is the barricade here. No FC without KC. No fucking without kissing. It doesn't matter if I wear a condom, because if she wants my thing in her pupu, she wants my my tongue in her mouth first.

Update:

2 years later HPV completely disappeared from my body  and I am back in the game.

The opinion of doctors nowadays is, that it is not transmittable through kissing and highly unlikely to be transmitted when wearing a condom. It was funny to hear from my 60 year old doctor that even if I still had it, just watching TV would be boring anyways haha (when being with a girl).
He became serious when I asked about oral sex though. No-go.

I have read that about 25% of americans run around with HPV not even knowing it. Scary.

Anyways, happy end for me :D

It's funny when you want to get in bed with a lot of girls and don't want to kiss them.

That's crazy. :)

If you're afraid, then you're out of the game.

Even people with just one partner may acquire it without their knowledge.

If it's your fate to have this illness( heaven forbid!) then good luck!

At least 50% of people get genital HPV at one point in their life, just saying. Maybe you guys should do some research, instead if fear mongering... Esp in PUA, we're in the business of sleeping with a lot of women, and condoms aren't as effective against it since its transmitted via skin.
