Most likely the reason behind your success is because you have social proof already, are preselected already, and are the leader of men already. Plus, I'm sure you've been willing to show emotion. So, word spreads to the girls that you have hit all these "benchmarks". If a guy lacks one or more of these areas, with warm approaching, it will definitely be harder for him to have success. He has to either first build up those areas, or tell stories that demonstrate those areas.
