Haha -- that's not the point, bro. You don't have to beat her.. you just make it fun. She beats you, accuse her of cheating, bust her balls, whatever. Or you can cheat her, laugh, just make it fun.
I've randomly broken into a thumb war before and it went really well. It's a great opener and gives you a lot of opportunities to neg and play off it of it later on.
