Last night since... Well I Had to study for my midterms so I wasnt able to get out of the house to sarge: So I watched "The last Samurai", you know, that movie with Tom Cruise on it.
And I discovered Why I like PU.
The Samurais of the movie lived to perfect their "art". All the japanese people lived just to be the best one on whatever they did. They seeked perfection, of form and of effect.
There is a scene, when Cruise's character is ambushed by a bunch of other samurais at night ant thy try to kill him. He just beats the crap out of them..real quick. And then he starts having a flashback of the beating....every move, every blow. One of the samurais wasnt dead and tried to attack Cruise from behind. And in the last second Cruise turns around and kills the samurai.
In my opinion, that guy achieved mastery in that moment.
Sometimes when I PU a girl...I know that I have just performed perfectly...just like a reflex...or if I had an autopilot or something...everything happens so fast.
When I pick up a girl, and things develop that good...I feel that Im one step closer to master this art.
We should follow the PUA path, like the samurais aproach their own, seeking perfection. Perfection of form, like doing every step the best way possible. And perfection of effects, like..hum...getting laid
.
Personally I like Style's writtings cause you can tell that he has a great deal of respect for women and for the art of pick up. Just like samurais respected their arts; cause that was their "destiny".
Im not saying that we should think that PU is"our destiny"...that would be unhealthy. Samurais did other things besides chopping heads off. They learned philosophy, painting, religion, and poetry. And as perfectionists they were; tryed to be the best ones in all those fields.
