As some of you may know a publisher I am working with took a very aggressive stance against libel what was being posted about me by a certain individual.

After speaking more with them we came to the conclusion that a personal defamation suit would not be worth it, due to the simple fact that the audience reached by this person was so small, that forums search placement so low and it would seem very few if any important individuals believe him.

In plain english, it's not worth the time and effort because he has no real influence, and in my personal opinion no credibility in this field.

I mean no one wans to listen to a man in his 40's who's 2 big claims to fame are being a former truck driver and attracting his wife from a newspaper classified ad.

Also Starbuck here is a little lesson for you in person defamation law, things that are states as opinions, or which are known facts are protected under your right to free speech... Oh and also it's Libel not Slander, Libel is written, Slander is spoken. Perhaps they don't cover the difference in trucker school?
