I dont see to many people encouraging compliments in the community and i find that ABSOLUTELY dumb. I know for a fact that one of the smartest moves you can make it to walk up to a girl youve never talked to, give her a genuine compliment, and just WALK AWAY. If youre at a club, bar, house party etc. shes gonna notice who you are, and wonder why you wanted nothing from her but to make her feel better.

This obviously works better on hb 6-8's than it does hb 9 and 10's, but it can even work on them.

What do you guys think about this?

So if you run... how are you gonna get the prize? Are you just expecting a HB to follow you and catch you just because you gave her a compliment? Unless they're desperate or has never received a compliment before (which is not gonna be the case) then I don't really see her going after you..

This could actually work in a place such as a class in college for example you could do that. She would wonder why you didn't want anything and feel that your different than any other guy who compliments her and straight away asks for a number. And when she's in a class with you in it she would most likely be thinking of you. I'm sure there's a way you could turn this into social proof. Not quite sure how but there's bound to be a way.

This kind of thing would work really well in a small house party. I tried this without the compliment by just saying "I haven't met you yet, but I'm going to when I come back inside" and she was all over me after that. Having the confidence to talk without expecting anything in return is pretty big...

With a compliment it's a little different. What compliment, too? You don't know her yet, so it has to be physical, but just "Wow, you're beautiful. Have a great night."??

Maybe more like a witty comment (not a neg) instead of a flat out compliment??

It's funny, because all of the PU Nerds who want to follow the rules 100% to a T will say that giving a compliment is a DLV.

But when you think about it, imagine the MOST DHV'ed person in the club/party, Brad Pitt for example. Do you really think he's worrying about DHVing? Or DLVing for that matter? No. He doesn't need to DHV and he isn't worried about DLVing because he does what he WANTS. That includes giving compliments where compliments are due, and asks nothing in return.

The most powerful DHV you can do is to never try to DHV.

To add on to this, I would suggest giving the compliment and then saying something along the lines of, "When I see you again, you better say hello/give me a hug/etc..." Then leave. And this last part is said while body rocking away, and acting disinterested. NON NEEDY!

Be careful with the body rock, it'll be weird if forced. It needs to be obvious that you're leaving, but still a natural position to talk to her.

This is dope. Especially in the club scene.

Walk up to every hottie and introduce yourself and shake hands. Then touch her face and say, "You have beautiful eyes... have a good one." and just eject, and on to the next girl.

The girls in the club will see you moving from girl to girl to girl, and most likely you will get positive feedback from the compliment. (A smile, she's looking at you while you walk away, etc) All shit to DHV you.

I don't give compliments easy. To my opinion, girls should deserve them. When a girl does or say something genuine, I honestly tell her that I appreciate that or that I like that in her. Two key words are timing and delivery.

Especially if you were truly being authentic/genuine.

But remember, really hot girls are complimented more.

There's nothing wrong with complimenting, and I agree with the above poster, I only compliment when there's something I actually like.

I think that even HB9.5 do very seldom get a REAL, smart, authentic compliment that is not directly connected to some pathetic approach or obvious sexual interest.

That its not connected to sexual interest is the key point. Think about it, if a girl came up to you complimented you and walked away, they wouldnt be out of your mind right away, youd be curious. Its an effective opener which requires no mid game because just be walking away she will get more interested, and it obviously doesnt work every time, but if you see 1 out of 10 of the girls who you complimented 10 minutes later, the odds are still damn good.
