I despise text game. I would rather talk face to face or call, mainly because I have a terrible habit of saying things in a text that make perfect sense to ME, but some tone or inflection is lost on her end. I end up looking like a tool, game over. But after I got a number yesterday after a very brief interaction with a girl where I had little time to build any comfort or escalate, it has been suggested that I use a little texting to help boost the odds of getting a hangout next time i drive into the city.

Now I know better than to stare at a text for 10 minutes and analyze it before sending, so my question is about the way to approach it. Would you say its better to say Hi, sup, shoot the shit, and build up to flirting? Or would you rather just dive into the fun part.

I think you kind of need to elaborate on what you mean by " dive into the fun part"

If your texting to increase the chance of hangging out with this girl then you need to be aiming to send a couple of texts and aim to get a day 2 asap whilst your still fresh in her mind from your first encounter or send eachother a few more texts than usual build more comfort/ flirt a little and then set the day 2

calling is always better than texting...if she doesn't know who is calling her you can easily hook her on the phone. Text messages are easy to ignore....

if you text always dive into the fun part.. the text should be short and fun. Also ask a fun question otherwise she doesn't have any reason to text you back - plausible deniablity counts even when texting.

if you haven't build any comfort or attraction you are better of sending as least texts as possible. You are not here to entertain her .. you want to spike her emotions and get a date.

Unfortunately for you, texting is one of those subjects that no one can agree on, and differs from country to country.

In England, if a girl gives you her actual number she is interested, but that doesn't mean she is likely going to go on a date with an actual stranger.

No, you need to be friendly and interesting for a few texts just so she knows you're not a sexual predator (even though you are - but if you go in straight with the flirting and inneundos you look creepy to most girls). Then arrange a suitable place to meet, and once she's comfortable in your company just try and fuck her.

There are many advantages to texting, you can have a game plan before shooting the next text, there is not room for error, well kind of, i get lazy that is when i fuck up, in a phone convo. in my opinion shows to much interest and put a lot of pressure on you and her, what do i say, nervousness etc... She could be busy, get interrupted...If you text and take your time and text again, witti, funny, different,sexual, it builds up mystery, drama, anxiety from the girls part, i just text and never use the phone till the next encounter...

yeah i have teh same problem... im doing so good in the actual phone conversation ( sometimes even texting) to the point where im going to far and im getting lazy... saying stupid shit to entertaining myself too much on other ones expense lol.

nowadays i bar it down a bit...if it's too funny or too impressing she will keep expecting such conversations

Well I overthought it, it seems. I've been workin a lot lately and since I couldn't call while at work, I sent her a text that just said "Hey, ****, I'll be in town Tuesday, let's meet up for lunch and hang out a while." She's down, told me to call her that day to set things up. Input appreciated, and having more than a minute face-to-face should help things out tremendously.

Believe it or not working so much, is good for you and your game, cause you come across BUSY, and you are not faking it, also hard work is attractive to women...They do complain that you do not spend too much time with them, give them the attention they deserve, but in your court works for your advantage...
