Starbuck, I think more and more we're a lot more alike than I realize. I know you've said you've actually married premium too. Me and you are alike in that also. We both have that rare wife.

Although let's get our definitions straight.

Yep, I'm married to a great girl. But definitely a discount. She has a talent and comes with her own money, and makes a ton of it as well. Especially for this relatively low cost of living area we are in. She's solid as a rock. Strong emotionally and intellectually. But at 5'3 120 lbs. she's but a mere 6-7 in outward appearance. And still wouldn't have any trouble getting laid anywhere she goes. She's a highly successful woman. We make a great team.

Contrast that with a 9-10 dingbat that's been able to depend upon her looks and beauty all her life. That wants everything she sees but you, those few times when she's happy and not thinking of bettering herself and her situation with the next wealthy or hard working enabler that comes along. And with few decent employment opportunities to boot. Probably good for a few kids and a few years of good sex until the looks fade, if that's all you need or want from a woman long term. Plenty of guys fall into this category. And if you can afford the heartache and the alimony for her few years of loyalty and top notch physical beauty, etc.. have at it.

Ahh the difference between a discount and a premium. Short term vs. long term satisfaction. Of course most women are a combination of the two. It's up to each guy to find the combination they think they can live with, and that they think will compliment their lives. Instead of just detracting from it 23 1/2 hours out of the day.

Now rarely will one run into the 9-10 who has it all. I call these premiums with discount qualities. If you can find one of these I say you'd better get hooked up with that if you can, and anyway you can. It's a quite rare commodity. And even then they tend to go to the highest bidder.

And even rarer is the discount that thinks she's a premium and expects to be treated like one constantly on your dime. These are to be avoided at all costs. And damn sure don't be stupid enough to marry one.

Unfortunately, often you find out exactly what you have after you're already married.

Now not to leave the guys out of the equation. You know women have a similar rating system, beyond physical attractiveness.. It's know as the provider vs. the fuck buddy bad boy or something similar. Yep you're right, roughly the provider being the discount and the bad boy, fuck buddy being the premium.

Ok, my bad. I had a misunderstanding on that before. Rare indeed. I know I did good on that one, lol. And no, for the newbies that will probably say "you always say don't put them on a pedestool", she's actually not on a pedestool. I do value and appreciate her, but there's a big difference between that and putting her on a pedestool. And, if you ask her, she would tell you I don't have her on a pedestool. OOOPS. lol. Yep, I knew I fucked up on the first two marriages, lol. So, either they aren't that rare, or I REALLY have some damn bad luck, lol. So, you're saying that's were I fucked up? lol Of course, because the bad boy knows how to make them crave him more, whereas the provider just gives them anything and everything they ask for, and they get bored with him.
