haha ive been there three years, i swear on my life for the first two years every single time somebody called out i was the first person they called and went in everytime

then when i started needing days off and they told me they couldnt find anyone i stopped saying yes, to this day i havent covered for anyone and thats their fault

also if my work ethic was so bad, they should be up front and tell me to my face

They certainly should, and I understand that most managers tend to be giant douchebags. But, if you don't wanna be a broke bastard or don't feel like job-searching, just kick up the intensity a little bit and bust your ass for a few days, then make buddy buddy with him. If he persists, flip a trashcan over and throw your shirt at him. Always works for me.

Unfortunate.

Same thing happened with me when I was a waiter at IHOP.The manager put me "on call".Then,I find out I'm fired from a good friend,all because I've held up only a few tables past few weeks before getting fired(It's the cook's fault.All of em.During downtime,THEY PLAYED CEE LO with the Bus Boys!!!Wtf?)

But yea Ice.I'd go job searching If i were you.This probably wont end well.

i already have like 5 applications in my room all filled out, just havent gone to return them

but i think when im done with this job im going to break from working for a month and focus on school

Right now, I sell puppies. It's not exactly the best paying sales job I've ever had, and it makes me smell like dog shit when I'm done, but the critters are adorable and puppies are the world's greatest peacocking.

im a business admin student....my father just opened a home theater installation/DJ/production company

mainly focused on music

so he told me to get my degree or whatever and i have a job in finance for his company
