LA TRIPP!!!!!!111111oneoneone
haha, just playin. LA's already a mod

MING THE MERCILESS!!!!!!1111ONEONEONE
haha.... he was sweet back in the day.

On a serious note though
I personally think Daz and Bes seem to be qualified, but they haven't been around that long. Its easy to meet those requirements ( I know I do ), but it's much harder to know if someone's gonna stick around the forums ( I know I don't and probably wont ).

Whoever you guys do pick, needs to be someone you get along with, and who's proven that they will stick around for a while.

Another thing to consider is which sections they will be "modding." I know you guys mod the whole forum here, but if you want this new mod to focus on one area, it's probably best to find someone who's knowledgeable in that area.

Alright, a decision has been made by our diligent team of moderators. However, one decision is left to be made.

We could have one new mod...

or we could have TWO new mods!!!

Without discussing specific people, what do you guys think about this? Would it be better to have one new mod now or two new mods now?

The wheels of change are in motion...

I personally think 2. However i think what needs to be taken into consideration is what time zones people are in, since the mods need to be spaced out throughout the day ideally.

Also, with the sudden increase of activity on the forum, especially the newbie section two more mods would be good just to clean up the double posts and what not.

I don't really see a reason why having 2 new mods could be detrimental to the forum. When are we going to find out who the new mods are?

2 more mods would be great.

Chief you already do the job of two mods as it is. :P

I think there are some great suggestions.

Where are most of the mods based? USA right? If you get one from the UK and another from USA that could really help balance things out...

Why don't you just have one additional mod now and then add another later if it seems like you still need help.

When moderators don't have anything to do, they tend to get bored. Bored moderators over moderate and this pisses off the regulars. This happened on another site I was a part of (not PU related), but it killed the site in less than three months.

He was always VERY active. He'd do the job of FIVE mods.
Indeed. Now that was a real man, I'm sorry he had to leave.

Thanks for the intro Chief.

Hobbit, you are one furry creature I could never forget:

Que LOTR 3 End Scene; you in bed, me in the doorway slowly making my way over

lol.

As to everyone else, I hope that more moderators on the forums does not change too much of the comfort factor.

We are here to keep some structure; to ensure that you have an orderly environment that you are able to learn in.

For now (a short while) I will be observing more than acting - but very soon you should be able to additionally come to myself or Ace_of_Spades with concerns that you have. We are both open, understanding, and easy to get along with people.
