This sounds like an attack rather than a playful punch which is weird on her part! Did she come all the way across the room to attack you or was she right beside you and then reached over? All I can think of is maybe she liked you and wanted to get your attention...can't say I agree with her methods but I think you handled it perfectly and your target still aimed at pleasing you....mission accomplished
