Money is just a tool. One should have many tools - looks are a tool, breath mints are a tool, props are a tool, canned material.. all tools. None should be a crutch.

I'm not saying you *have* to pay for anything.. or that you *should* pay.. i'm saying that paying for the first date works for me.

admitedly, I've just stared using PUA techniques so maybe I'll find out that hb9's react differently to me paying on the first date than 7's do.

To that end, if anyone has experiences where paying for the first date BLEW THEM OUT of the comfort phase with a HB8+, please let me know! I'd like to avoid shooting myself in the foot if possible

If you're going on the typical dinner date, it's just manners for you to pay... call me old fashioned if you will but that's what I believe. It's never really been an issue with me, nor has it been a deterence from getting a close at the end of the night.

My solution, avoid the typical first date dinner. Do something different. And by different, I don't mean a movie. I often invite a girl that I'm interested in to party that I may be attending.... ask her to come swimming at your place (assuming you have a pool).... cooking her dinner has paid off as well as it shows value and it's an automatic isolation.

I think cooking dinner would be amazing, the only problem with that is you better have good rapport so she feels comfy doing that. I totally agree with not paying on the first date / buying girls drink. 100%. What are some good ways to convey this? I've heard some good stuff I like the phone idea or the go get some popcorn lol.
