Well, that really depends on your approach, and who you're going for. It's true that a lot of white foreigners on vacation there, manage to get laid without too much trouble. What they don't say (or more likely, simply don't know) is that chances are, they've had sex with a "gaijin hunter" (the women who specifically go after foreigners, sometimes in hopes of getting pregnant so they can "have a kid with blonde hair and blue eyes, SO CUTE!"). That, plus they get the "interesting wide-eyed tourist"-bonus, which you get in a lot of countries, though particularly Japan.

In my own experience, it's no harder or easier to pick up Japanese women, than other women. Personally my chances with Americans and Australians are considerably better, especially considering how rarely I meet them.

I see the really awesome PUA's in the US and UK pick up substantially more women, than the ones in Japan. (though, as I noted way before, that's also a matter of the quality of PUA in Japan - the community is, by large, shit)

Spurious comparison! The difference with PUA is you can go and try the techniques you saw on the internet yourself in your own city whenever you want. You can prove whether something works through trial and error. Whereas surprisingly enough, you can't try anything out on indigenous Japanese women without getting on a plane!

I read a post where a 300 lb man from Wisconsin did this, and arrived in a little over 2 days. Guys guys, stop being so defensive and butt-hurt. Just because you cannot give a real insight into Japanese culture, doesn't mean you suck at game and doesn't mean i think you're any less of a man. I'm sure you regularly crush in your local nightclubs and you are all good at pulling. Nobody is saying you suck with women. I just think you shouldn't be giving cultural advice on something you have never experienced yourself.

Nothing is stopping any of you from getting on a plane and trying stuff out for yourselves. And I hope you do and hope you come back with awesome stories and insights of your own.

Since I've lived in Japan for 4 years and travelled there almost every summer since I was born, there's no urgency for me to go again. No doubt I'll be there again next summer. It's my 2nd home, most of my family lives there. Nice try though!

So who, exactly, has been there and can give first hand knowledge on PUA in Japan and it's culture in regards to caucasians getting women? Lets sort out all the bullshitters who think they're right from those who actually have been there and know exactly what's going on. I'm not talking about "a friend of a friend" bullshit or "my friend from work/college" shit that we can all lay claim to. I'm talking hard, solid facts and first hand experience instead of this reach around circle jerk bullshit.

zepzep is spot on, I am living and have been living in Japan since 2008 and I have no clue where Game SN is getting this info from, that shit is all wrong. I know you did your "research" on it but the info you got is completely wrong. Try that shit that GameSN is telling you and watch you fail hard. The key is communication. If you cant speak Japanese or at least conversational Japanese, you better hope the girl you are talking to knows some sort of English. the whole being "foreigner" phase would work about 10 years ago but now a days you are just like any regular person in the streets of Tokyo. Ive seen it soo many times foreigners try to come in a bar and pick up a chick and completely fail at it.they will talk to you and try to conversate if they know any English or other language, take your drink and then move on. At best you would pick up a HB4-5 that has not had exposure to foreign people and probably the only girl that has not gotten hit on by any other guys. mind you that hb4-5 will turn into a 2-3 when the make up comes off. If thats what you are looking for, by all means try it.
