I love telling women that I'm a PUA. It works really well for hooking them and DHVing. There should be no reason to fear being "found out". Had a girl that I was trying to get with for the past 3 years ALL over me the other night, just because I let her into my frame.

It's gonna be ok :D The only possible way this could "hurt" would come from the pua's total lack of originality as said before. It's important to be unique. Actually, it's the first rule (of fight club :P).
