Theres no flame war. its flavor of different personalities in one post. Dont egg on supposed "flame wars" that are non existant. If there is a mis understanding of peoples personalities because we are on the internet, that doesnt mean its a flame war that means we have more work to do.

I think Methuselah’s comments are worthy of a detailed response. Then I will lock this thread and allow the paid (for forum newbies) PMZ prove itself in time.

Firstly, the forum is over 18 months old. Throughout that 18 month period I have worked hard in the background to promote, SEO and maintain the forum. For instance, I have purchased several thousand dollars of paid-text-links ads for SEO purposes, I have paid to have the forum submitted to thousands of directories, I’ve contacted many site owners to exchange links, I even paid a Blackhat SEO guy to help the forum achieve ranking for a specific keyword, and I’ve spent many hundreds of hours coding and developing mods for this forum too. Because I don’t post much does not mean I’m banking off the work of others. Indeed…
….is absolute nonsense! You could have contacted me privately, Methuselah, and expressed your opinion and I would have responded accordingly… but you didn’t!

Secondly, the extra revenue generated by the PMZ will help pay Xfman for his dedication, cover the costs of a dedicated server, pay for more advertising and promotion, provide a prize fund for competitions, help the forum grow in new directions (Xfman will let everyone know about some great ideas soonish), pay for bi-annual/annual meet-ups (or sarging nights), and other stuff too.

The forum is growing at a significant pace, and I’d like thanks all the guys that have contributed to the forum over the last 18 months.

As for Methuselah's comments, perhaps there’s an ulterior motive for them?
