Note that most posts are at least a day apart except the last one where she answered right away, and also the IOD about the library that seemingly didn't end up meaning anything.
my question is:
how do I respond to this while maintaining my relaxed, joking attitude but also without alienating her?
I was thinking something like "weeeelllll I guess you could partake, but only if you're good w/ a knife and can speak fluent Japanese" or something along those lines.
just as a thought, what if I were to add something like "Well ok but then I'll
have to find some candles for mood lighting and stuff" or would that suggest too much intent?
Ps. The post at the very bottom of the thread works wonders w/ girls who you know well enough to know their name and that they're hot but have never really chilled w/ or gotten to know. every time it's gotten a positive response.

Ironically enough, the Whiteout prevented me from making an appearance at your white party, despite having planned on attending.
If your as good a brainstormer as you claim to be, miss [HB], then I'm sure an alternative won't take long. Tuesday I'm goin downtown to fix my phone and look for dress pants/khaki's if you're up for keeping me company, but only if you think your style sense is up to snuff : )

This weekend is as follows:
Fri: Swim/Track end of season partay w/ power hour tonight
Sat: St. Paddie's parade followed by other festivities (McKibbons probs)
Sun: sleep in, do webwork, make sushi from scratch (Just bought supplies & hardcore grade A salmon from a japanese grocery store I'm pretty stoked)
There's no way your weekend can even compare.

Dont always put too much pressure on yourself to come up with the best possible answer. Sometimes a simple answer can be just as effective.
But it sounds like you've got a date, remember no pressure, its just sushi. Make sure you got a follow up to it, like take her to a bar or something after. _________________ To effectively communicate, we must realise that we are all different in the way we percieve the world and use this understanding as a guide to our communication with others.
